You asked about this picture: http://omer.cmg.co.il/?showimage=186 – “how such great sharpness with so low shutter speed? why so low shutter speed with flash? didn’t get those, feels like i am missing something…” , well, the answer is in the question. the sharpness is created by the flash, which is the real exposure time, since everything is dark around. flash time is very fast, so it freezes the image. the long exposure is aimed at the lights in the image – the effect created of “drawn lights”. that way you can get both a frozen subject and motion blur at the same time. try it, it’s fun.
A friend of mine took a shot similar to this of a jar of lollies smashed on the road. I liked his image, and this one really reminds me of it. Nice low angle and randomness in the scene.
A very good shot, Nadav.
Has layers of interest and nice aesthetics.
I really love this shot, great atmosphere.
